Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The material meets the format and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.

Author Guidelines

The manuscript should be prepared in English or Vietnamese, with the scientific papers format of Information Security Journal (click here to download the template).

Title: Title should be brief, specific and informative.

Authors: Names of authors unaccompanied by their degrees, titles, etc.

Abstract: Abstract should be in about 120 to 150 words, in Vietnamese and English.

Keywords: Keywords in Vietnamese and English, and should be no more than 10 words.

References: References should only include materials which are referenced in the paper, indexed by increasing order in square brackets.

About the authors: Brief biography of author(s) with approximately 150 words, including: Full name; 01 portrait photo; Contact (office, home, telephone number, email); Workplace; Education (all degrees, where and when); Field of work and current research direction; Introduction of published papers.

The Editorial office will not return the manuscript if unpublished. The authors must ensure that the paper does not violate any laws on state secret protection.

Note about author's responsibility

1. The author is responsible for the content, quality, legality and plagiarism (if any) of the article, in compliance with the Intellectual Property Law of Vietnam and internationally. Authors should ensure that they have written all of the original research; If the author uses another person's work, it must have a clear and detailed citation and in some special cases it is necessary to have the consent of the individual who owns the work. Citations must be placed in the appropriate context in the article. Plagiarism is considered an ethical violation and is not acceptable.

2. The author is responsible for the arrangement of the names of himself and other co-authors as well as the rights and obligations of the members.

3. When discovering a serious error or inaccuracy in a published article, the author is responsible for immediately notifying the Journal and coordinating with the Journal to withdraw or correct the article. If the Journal receives notice from a third party of an error in the publication, it is the author's responsibility to cooperate with the Journal, including providing proof to the Journal when requested.
